Plaza de la Revolucion
The Plaza de la Revolución Square, located in Vedado, in the municipality of Havana, named in the same way, is one of the largest public squares in the world, at 72,000 square meters, as well as a place of great historic value, as it has been the scene of several of the main events throughout the Cuban Revolution. A million people have gathered here.
Its huge terrace has been used for several Party conferences, and has been witness to several acts of solidarity with brother nations, and to anniversaries of historic events, such as the assault on Cuartel Moncada, and the success of the Revolution.
